I am setting a goal today. I WILL accomplish this goal. I am sick and tired of talking about how unhappy I am with my body, so I've decided to change it.
Today is August 11th. By November 11th I will have lost at least 12 pounds.
I am cutting out sweets for the next month to kick start this plan.

I'm doing that this month and it's KILLING me! Why oh why does there have to be so much food at church functions. That's the worst.

but scales suck. mine broke. NO, NOT BECAUSE I STEPPED ON IT! my nephew turned it upside down and the number spinner thing fell off. it was $5 at ikea. i'll go without. somewhat liberating. so i started back using the measuring tape. it's going much better. when i need a little self esteem boost i just squeeze the tape tighter. kidding. maybe.
YOU CAN DO IT!!! (the first 2-3 days are the hardest...so as long as you can make it past those, you'll do it!)

Good luck! I know you can do it. It worked really well for us to treat ourselves on Saturday. Total deprivation is hard physically and mentally.

Good luck! I am reading this great book. It's called the Full Plate Diet. Except, it's not a diet. It just educates you and helps you to set goals for eating more fiber which helps you feel more full and also helps make you regular.
you can do it! 3 lbs/month...really, isn't that overachieveing? Yes, i'm being a brat, but really YOU CAN DO IT!

well, I've only eaten about 4. Maybe 5.
They weren't very good anyway.
