How Nintendo brings us all together

Owen: "Climb up that ladder!"

Hazel: "AAUUUGH! Stop killing me!"

Owen: "Press A! Press A!"

Hazel: "I AM pressing A! It's not doing anything!"

Owen: "I won!"

Hazel: "Mooooommmmm! He's not letting me win!"

Me: "Turn it off."

And there you have it! We managed to all interact and bond this morning.

THIS is why I don't ever want one of those! And b/c my brothers are hopelessly addicted and I've seen what it has done to their families.

Ah, yes. A woman of principle.

The next level of video game suppression is hiding the controllers.

As the children mature and their cognitive abilities improve, you will need to up the campaign; take the controllers with you to work in your purse.

The ultimate tactic (which I have done many times) is forgetting where you last hid them, and pointing them to a stack of library books instead.

Stay True. Stay Strong.
