More Owenisms

I just love this....in the car, Owen said "Mom- if you didn't have those blinking arrows, how would we know where we were going?"

It took me a while to figure it out, but he apparently has (for years) thought that those little blinking arrows (my turn signals) were telling me where to go. He must have been really impressed when I explained to him that I controlled the car instead of the other way around. :)

Then in the store, Hazel was in the cart and Owen was walking beside me. She was hanging a ribbon out of the cart and he was running alongside trying to catch it. I said "Be careful, Owen. You might pull Hazel right out of the cart!" and he replied, "Or worse! I could break the ribbon!"

:)

Hi-larious! How do you contain yourself when your kids say things like this? I wish I knew them better!
